We just wanted to let you know that Bailey is doing great.  He is a playful, smart puppy who loves rolling in the leaves and snow.  Here's a photo of him in the snow in Pennsylvania on Christmas.  He has been around many children and other dogs of family and friends over the holidays, and he has been gentle and loving with all of them.   We hope that you are enjoying the holidays, as this has been a wonderful one for us with Bailey!

Just sending an update on Zeikquel. He is growing up so fast and has had plenty of new experiences since we've brought him home. He's been there with us for prom and graduation and he's even had his first beach day where he was the hit of the beach. He stops traffic wherever we go and everyone asks about him and wants to pet him. We're still amazed at his curiosity about the world and the ease and eagerness in which he learns. He loves to swim and play with his favorite toy, a squeaky sock monkey. We'll send more updates as little Zeik grows up!

Zoe  (Haynes x Honeybear) is 3 years old today!   We are celebrating by taking Zoe and her half-sister, Franny (Zeke x Honeybear)  to a dog-friendly mall that has a specialty dog treat shop.    Whenever we take them there lots of people come to pet them and “ooh and ah” over how cute they are.   They always cause a stir wherever they go with their friendly antics and playfulness.  I cannot say enough good things about these terrific little dynamo corgis.  We have had so much fun with them and are so thankful we have them.    Both Franny and Zoe are therapy dogs with Therapy Dogs & Associates in Richmond and are well known to residents of local nursing homes.  They have wonderful temperaments and get along beautifully with all people (especially children) and other dogs.    Thank you for the wonderful corgis you are raising at South Haven Farm.

I wanted to pass on that Winston is doing great.  He has discovered a new past time playing video games and watching TV.  He will sit in front of the  TV until you turn it on. It makes a great dog sitter.  His training has been good.  He has had a few setbacks, but overall we have been very pleased.  We have been doing some agility workouts with him. We hope the weather breaks soon so we can get back to the workouts. He seems to love them, but it has been so hot we don’t stay out very long.  We actually got new neighbors a few weeks ago and they have a tri-colored female. So they have actually played together so that is pretty cool.  He has adapted to camping and loves it.  Winston and our black lab Max play wonderful together.

I just wanted to send you a little update on our wonderful little girl, Paisley. We got her almost a year ago from you, and in that time she has made our family complete. She has developed into a very smart, loving, outgoing, beautiful and well-mannered corgi. Her exuberant personality makes my husband and I smile every day. We particularly love indulging her in her favorite hobbies which include swimming, playing frisbee and of course herding horses. She has been easy to house train, quick to pick up on a variety of tricks, healthy as can be, and an overall absolute joy to have around all time. I wanted to thank you for breeding such wonderful, well rounded corgis, and to send you some recent pictures so you can see how she has grown up.

She was the best on the way home.  Put the towels on the seat and she just piled up next to me and slept most of the way.  I stopped twice to water her and take her for a "walk".  She did her duty outside and we even stopped at Petco for a toy which she chewed part of the way.

She's had dinner, done her duty outside (I am just amazed!!!) and as you can see by the attached picture is taking a nap.

Thank you - she is too much!!  Even the two Siamese have stopped in the kitchen to hiss and walk away...

Just wanted to send a few photos of Cooper your way, as promised. He's growing so fast and getting sweeter every day. After getting his second round of shots last weekend, he just started going to "doggie daycare" down the street for a few days last week and has been getting some of that puppy energy out playing with some other dogs. The first day we took him there was referred to as "evaluation day," so he got a "report card" that day, indicating his excellent behavior and social skills. We hung it on our fridge to show off our puppy's good merit, ha ha. Most of my family and friends have all met him now and love him to pieces. He's definitely enjoying all the attention and I can tell he's going to be very social. He's met several of the children in the neighborhood and we had our friends from college stay with us this weekend with their 2-yr-old daughter, who had so much fun playing with him and started calling him her puppy. Thank you again for our sweet boy. He's already stolen our hearts and become a special member of our family.
