General Policies
1. South Haven Farm does not sell to resellers including pet stores.
2. Deposits are non-refundable. In the event that a pup is available for you, but you decide to wait
for any reason, your deposit is good for 1 year from the date of notification of an available pup. Please check with landlords about pet policies. Please make sure that no one in your family is alergic to animals.
3. Pups are sold with AKC Registration Application papers.
4. Prices of the pups are stated under the Purchase Information button.
5. All pups are implanted with AVID Microchips at a cost $35.
6. Pup guarantee (7 day general health guarantee, 1 year serious congenital
defect guarantee).
7. Pups are expected to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.
8. If for any reason you cannot keep your pup/dog, you agree to notify
SHF for a new home approval or return the pup/dog to SHF. We will
not refund any monies, but will find the pup/dog an appropriate and
approved new home.
9. Information on this website supercedes any information on other
advertising websites.
Puppy Picking and Pickup Policies
1. Pups in a litter are picked according to the order that deposits are received.
2. South Haven reserves the right to retain pick of any litter for breeding stock purposes.
3. Pups can be picked anytime after they are born. If you are at the top of a litter list, you must begin picking at the age of 4 weeks in order for everyone on the list to have time to pick their pup. If you are not able to visit the farm to pick, we will supply pictures and bios on the pups to help you.
4. Pups are ready to go from the farm between 7 and 8 weeks of age. If you cannot pick up your pup at 8 weeks, we will be glad to board the pup for you at the cost of $5 per day.
5. If a pup needs to stay past 9 weeks of age, we will administer the pup's 9 weeks vaccination and deworming at the cost of $35.
